Busy Signal Cancels Shows in Uganda and Kenya

Jamaican dancehall maestro, Busy Signal’s concerts in East Africa have been cancelled.

The Gyal Yuh Good star was supposed to perform in Kenya this Saturday and in Uganda on Sunday but he announced Tuesday that both shows had been cancelled.

“The Busy Signal concert which was scheduled in Kenya and Uganda has been postponed until further notice . We shall communicate a new date conducive to our schedule along with the organizers of Uganda and Kenya,” the singer Tuesday posted on his official Facebook account.

He however distanced himself from the show’s postponement saying it was in the promoter’s control and neither did he nor his music label, Turf Music Entertainment contribute to it.

“It is with disappointment that these events are postponed because Busy Signal was looking forward to performing for his fans in Kenya and Uganda.”

This was going to be Busy Signal’s performance in Uganda in a space of one year.

The Watch Out Fi Dis singer was in Uganda in December last year and was overwhelmed by the thousands of crowds that stormed Lugogo Cricket Oval for his show.

The show was organized by Suudiman, KT Promotions, Vision Group’s Urban TV and Fenon Events went on upto 1:45pm. It is promoter, Suudiman who was bringing back the singer in Uganda and Keny
