Comedian Salvado Patrick Idringi has refuted rumors that he was fired from the Kisementi based 91.3 Capital Fm. Many media outlets have been spreading rumor that the comedian was sacked from the station where he co-hosts The Overdrive evening show with Alex Ndawula and Lucky Mbabazi.

On Tuesday, Salvado cleared the air saying;

No I’m not quitting Capital Fm, No I’ve not been fired but Yes I will be leaving the station coz I resigned in totally good faith, I will be out of the country on shows for most part of this year so it was just fair for the station for me to make this decision.

It wasn’t easy coz Capital has been and will forever be in my life, the management and staff have shown me nothing but love and I pray one day I will return. But for now to all my Capital fans and friends, it’s not goodbye but see you later and please grant me your blessings as I take on these new challenges ahead of me.

This is my last week on air and I Wana enjoy every moment with you my friends of the overdrive. I will forever be grateful for the 3yrs I’ve worked on Capital Fm and maybe one day I’ll come back and become a legend like ma man Alexander Ndawula. Adios, May the good Lord bless you all.
